If you’ve been thinking of coming out to the NW Natural Parade of Homes – come out today! Yes, we will be open all day long for a great family outing.

Hi, I’m Jack Harroun, President of the Building Industry Association of Clark County. We host the NW Natural Parade of Homes each year, and I have to say, I’m really enjoying the showcase of homes this year. Attendees always want to see what’s new, innovative and get some inspiration. Well, we have a really nice variety of homes again, and all 5 homes display the best of new home construction by our four participating builders. Here are some design ideas I want you to keep an eye out for!

Inside Home #1 by Bella Villa Homes, take a look up at the gorgeous beam work and wood work in the great room. I think the dark rich woods really make this house warm and inviting. Also, when you go upstairs, the entertainment room is really something special.

Inside Home #2 by Modern Home Design & Build, you’ll be whisked into a lavish modern environment that has to be explored. One thing to notice – there isn’t one step anywhere in the home – it’s a remarkable accomplishment – and one you need to consider as you tour the home.

Everyone is raving about Home #3 by Tuscany Homes – and you’ll see why. The woodwork is outstanding, and the large scale beams are truly awe inspiring. Also, I want you to notice the bark work on the outside and inside of the home. Yes, that is real bark as a surface product that has never been presented before to the public!

Our last two homes by Cascade West Development have features you have to see as well. Inside Home #4 there is the ultimate entertainment room for a family. Plus, a kitchen feature that is rare – a 360 degree use design. The circular design kitchen makes entertaining, cooking and serving a delight!  And their last home on the tour has a unique floor plan design I’ve never seen before. Go upstairs in Home #5 and see the playroom/ storeroom combo – it is brilliant.

I hope to see you out at the Parade of Homes this year; our local builders have worked hard to create a terrific show just for you!

Enjoy!
