The 2017 NW Natural Parade of Homes is currently under construction and on-track for a September unveiling! Over the next few months, we will be highlighting some must-see features of the homes and whetting your appetite with some delightful teasers.

One must-see Parade entry is the Generation Homes Northwest casita being built within the framework of the main home – called The Whitby. As you know, mother-in-law quarters, home office space or a place for returning (adult) children, are serious considerations for many families. Generation Homes is taking the concept to a new level of sophistication and artistry within their 3,287 square foot home! “When guests arrive, they will love the casita or guest house. With its own private entrance, suite, walk-in closet and wet bar, this is a private hideaway for guests,” said John Colgate with Generation Homes Northwest.

Looking at the floor plan, one will immediately notice that the casita is located in front of the main residence. This treatment is a fundamental departure from the standard application of the additional dwelling being placed in the backyard, or over the garage. This approach adds a distinct feature to the front of the home and its overall appeal!

Come visit The Whitby and the four other gorgeous homes being built for the NW Natural Parade of Homes. We will be posting more blogs and sneak peaks soon!

Opening day is slated for September 8th and we will have 13 days of events, activities and of course, touring the fully decorated and landscaped homes. See you soon!
