Genesis Homes NW has over 30 years of experience in home building. From production building to custom homes. When we started Genesis Homes, we decided that every home can have uniqueness and beauty as well as meaningful design, and to each client it’s an opportunity to create their dream home. This doesn’t necessarily require a multi million dollar budget to build. Our motto is “Dream Homes for Everyone”, it evolved from the idea that our homes are our havens, our sanctuaries, likely even more now than ever before. However, making your home a place you love to come home to doesn’t need to be budget busting. A home that exceeds the comfortable financial commitment makes it even less of a dream. Every home can be comfortable, practical, and beautiful on any budget. That is what we strive to accomplish in every build.

As a company we made the commitment to give back to our community in ways that can help others. Every home we build has a portion of our proceeds donated to Treehouse for Kids. This is an organization that helps kids in foster care create opportunities to strive in their education. This commitment means a lot to us as one of our children went through foster care, we understand the challenges that these children are experiencing with circumstances often beyond their control. We are hoping to help by making another donation to Treehouse with the sale of this year’s Parade Home.

The Parade of Homes is a wonderful opportunity for us to showcase our combined creativity and unique designs. We enjoy the opportunity to get creative in our own way. The homes started with my wife’s love on Eichler architecture and bringing the outdoors in, and in evolved into a modern take on a ranch. The floor plan is sprawling and takes into consideration the need for natural light and open space that we look for in the great Northwest. Spending time outdoors in our area is such an enjoyable extension of our living. We desired to make it comfortable and functional for extended use. We hope the interesting angles and nontraditional design if something fun for everyone to see as it was for us to design and build.

The Kousa is named after a family member of my wife’s that inspired her from childhood to pursue real estate and ultimately home building. She supported our venture and made it possible to do what we do. Her untimely passing made this house an opportunity for us to recognize her contribution to what we do. She would have loved the opportunity to see what we’ve done.
